I had been a patient of this practice since it was previously Dentex Dental, so unfortunately, I was really disappointed with my last experience. I want to start by saying the staff were very warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Diaz was completely different. His bedside manner came across as very apathetic and disconnected. I didnβt feel any warmth, empathy, or genuine effort to make me feel comfortable as a patient. The entire energy of the interaction felt off-putting and I left feeling uncomfortable enough that I chose not to return. Dental care can already be stressful and expensive, and patients deserve to feel respected, heard, and comfortable with the provider caring for them. We arenβt just appointments on a schedule, we are the patients who choose and support these practices. Itβs disappointing because I had been coming to this location for years and never had this type of experience before. The staff were great, but unfortunately, my interaction with the dentist was enough for me to decide to find another dental practice.

Has been a while since Iβve been to the dentist and was very anxious to finally go- all staff was very understanding, professional and compassionate. Easy to work with, very comfortable and low-stress environment. All procedures were efficient and effective.

I had a disappointing experience at this office. While the staff was courteous, I felt uncomfortable with the way my diagnosis was discussed by Dr. Diaz. After receiving the diagnosis, I felt that the bedside manner lacked empathy and reassurance. The conversation came across to me as judgmental, which left me feeling embarrassed and unsupported during a vulnerable moment. I understand that difficult diagnoses sometimes need to be discussed, but I believe patients should feel respected, heard, and cared for throughout that process. Unfortunately, I did not leave feeling that way after my visit. Because of this experience, I have decided not to pursue further care with this office. I hope this feedback encourages a more compassionate and patient-centered approach to communication in the future.

First time at Philadelphia Dental. I had an excellent experience! Came in to make a future appointment, but they were able to see me right away! I was able to have a temporary crown put in, and I am looking forward to my return appointment in two weeks. All the staff were truly welcoming and extremely professional. Very happy with my experience.
